French DJ & producer, Norman Doray is one of the young phenomenon when we’re talking about Electronic Dance Music industry.

At his beginnings, he was part of the Freshmakers group, with an other french producer Pierre de la Touche & the young Arno Cost.Norman Doray is know for having his tunes released by the biggest labels of the industry (for ex: Spinnin Records), and for his works with other big producers as Avicii, Tristan Garner or Arno Cost.

This place in the EDM industry, he deserves it. He is the one that produced those hits : Chase the Sun, Tweet It, Celsius, Trilogy, Leo… and Norman is still making noise as he just released his lastest tune Something to Believe In with the collaboration of Nervo & Cookie.

Hi there,

Been a long time since I wrote the last article, but I have so much work. I can’t handle everything…  But still there for EDM !

By going around on the internet, I found out that Martin Solveig recorded “The Night Out”, his last single, in an orchestral and vocal version, in studio! Quality, good sound and FREE ! You can download it on Soundcloud on Martin Solveig’s account or by clicking HERE !

Since last year, David Guetta reached the top of the EDM charts around the world.

We all know his biggest hits : Turn Me On (Feat. Nicky Minaj), Where Them Girls At (Feat. Nicky Minaj & Flo Rida), Without You (Feat. Usher) or Wild One Two more recently. After his last album Nothing But The Beat, the rumour said that he would end his career as an EDM artist to focus on his new label : JackBack Records.

“Everything became so huge with electronic dance music, I think that it’s time for me to make smaller project” he said to a French media. But Guetta will continue to contribute to the EDM scene by revealing new and talented artists, thanks to this label.

Few fans reacted to this announcement on the Internet, are you part of them ? Or are you going to share the news and react? Comment or tweet what you think !

A brand new progressive house track, with a crazy beat. No more words, just listen and enjoy, We Own The Night is already OUT !  On Beatport   On iTunes

And the most important, a taste :

As there’ s a lot of producers on the Internet, on the planet, there are so many songs. Let me try to gather each time I can some of the best tunes of the moment. I am a fan, so I know that Beatport is expensive but I know that this store is exclusive, famous and up-to-date on EDM. Almost every playlists I’ll make would be inspired by what I ear there, but from DJs podcasts, music video, movie trailer and ads  too.

Being one of those producers (and mixing sometimes), I propose to discover the songs through a podcast (I’ll be mixing… !). But I’ll give you the playlist if your ears can’t take it. My playlists are also available on my French blog for EDM, and on my Soundcloud account.

Let’s start with the first playlist :

  1. Jack Back Feat. David Guetta, Nicky Romero & Sia – Wild One Two (Original Mix)
  2. Robbie Rivera Feat. JES – Turn It Around (Original Mix)
  3. Axwell, Ivan Gough, Feenixpawl – In My Mind Feat. Georgi Kay (Axwell Mix)
  4. Laidback Luke, Arno Cost & Norman Doray – Trilogy (Original Mix)
  5. Hard Rock Sofa – Quasar (Original Mix)

I promised, I did.

An other playlist, with some trance tunes this time.

A brand new Rank 1 & Jochen Miller Feat. Sarah Bettens, nice collaboration for a powerful trance track. As we know (or not) Tiesto stop producing Trance. He did, but only under his most known name Tiesto : in fact, Allure is the other artist name Tiesto uses for trance releases. And as you’re going to here, Allure still know how to produce Trance song : dreamy, powerful, touchy…

All that great songs mixed together, with the playlist :

  1. Rank 1 & Jochen Miller feat. Sarah Bettens – Wild And Perfect Day (Extended Mix)
  2. Allure & TiDy Feat Jes – Show Me The Way (TiDy Remix)
  3. Heatbeat – Rocket Monster (Original Mix)
  4. Amster Dyen – The Pulse (Original Mix)
  5. Allure – I Am (Bart Claessen Remix)

EDM has been incredibly growing the last years. With it, some artists coming from all around the planet, and among them, the new and last number 1 DJ in the world : David Guetta.

There’s so many things to say about him. And we have to admit that the media know how to make us forget that this guy mastered the art of lifting up a crowd (plagiarism, commercial music only…).

Author of  Delirious, Baby When The Lights, Titanium, Little Bad Girl (feat. Taïo Cruz), Turn Me On (Feat. Nicky Minaj) or more recently : Wild One Two (Feat. Jack Back, Nicky Romeo & Sia) the most international French DJ doesn’t stop in creating new hits and multiplying the collaborations.

Something about his life? David is first of all French, married with Cathy Guetta and father of two children. He began mixing at the age of 17. He became famous in Paris, and one day, he decided to create his own music and label (with Joachim Garraud) : Gum Productions. His song Love don’t Let Me Go made him really famous, thanks to a mash up from Tocadisco.

Want to see Guetta performing ?

Before letting you go, just wanted to share on of the most beautiful music video from Guetta :
